This trail starts and ends next to Fajã do Lopo Vaz viewpoint and has the estimated time of about 2 hours. It goes along a descent, which alternates with unpaved areas, stone paved areas and stone steps, until it reaches Fajã de Lopo Vaz. It is necessary to be careful, as there is the possibility of stone fall. The exploration of this Fajã is to be undertaken at your own will. There is a stream with drinkable water, a beach and small agricultural areas, and there is also the chance of watching some wild goats. As you do not have a way out, you have to walk back the same track. The whole trail crosses a Special Protection Area (SPA), and for this reason, we all have not only the responsibility of contributing to its protection, but also of ensuring its biodiversity through the conservation of this natural habitat.
